the highs and lows of AUSTRALIAN association management

Nobody said that life in Australian association management was going to be easy. In fact it's rife with challenges as associations seek both to protect their members' interests and to provide events, benefits and services to keep those members engaged, educated and entertained.

But despite the on-going challenge of providing relevance and value to members, life in association management can also be exceptionally rewarding. And it's both the highs and lows of association life that we discussed with association leaders at this year's ACE Conference in Sydney.

We spoke to representatives from three very different associations about their views on the challenges facing associations, as well as the things that they most enjoy. We're sure their answers will resonate with other association leaders across the nation!

We'd love to hear your thoughts on the challenges you face and what you most enjoy about working in the association sector. if you'd be keen to share your views in a Q&A for the blog, please get in touch.
